Taking inspiration from the duo Rodrigo and Gabriela, Chris and Shelley have enjoyed arranging music for two classical guitars which reflects a Latin American influence, and are looking forward to presenting the fruits of their collaboration. As an introduction to the performance, Chris would like to take the opportunity to play some traditional Flamenco.

The Community Band epitomizes life-long learning with a wide spectrum of ages involved. It offers adult instrumentalists an opportunity to play in a friendly and supportive group, share their love of music and have fun. Their concert programme will include a mixture of film and show themes, jazz standards and popular music. Come and joint the band for an hour of foot-tapping entertainment.

Popular Shoreham-based folk duo The Rude Mechanicals (Barry Ruffell and Ray Chandler) are joined by an ensemble of musical associates to re-form The Rude Mechanicals Occasional Orchestra for this Adur Arts Live special. Featuring a wide range of instruments, they will present a varied programme of traditional music from around Europe.
